A TYNE Valley cricket has issued a warning after six cars and caravans were found parked on its pitch.
Northumbria Police and Northumberland County Council were called to Priors Flat, in Hexham, on Tuesday morning after the vehicles had accessed the grounds of Tynedale Cricket Club.
A spokeswoman for Northumbria Police confirmed the vehicles were moved on from the site.
Tynedale CC said no damage was caused to the pitch, and urged other clubs to ensure their grounds are locked.
