A MAN accused of possession of a knuckle duster and cannabis is due to stand trial.
Adam Featherstone, of Maidens Walk, Hexham, pleaded not guilty to the possession of the weapon at North Tyneside Magistrates' Court on Friday, July 10. He pleaded guilty to the possession of cannabis.
The charges relate to an incident in Newcastle city centre on May 7.
The 29-year-old was given an eight-week community order with a curfew in a separate charge after he pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to policy custody on July 1.
Featherstone is due to stand trial on September 4.
