THREE suspects have been charged after a cannabis farm was discovered buried 8ft underground in a back garden.
Police raided a house on Marshall Avenue in Dallam back in November 2018, arresting two men and a woman after finding the grow concealed beneath a shed.
A large amount of class B drugs was recovered, as was a quantity of cash.
Now, more than a year-and-a-half later, charges have been brought against three people in relation to the cannabis factory.
Fifty-year-old Melanie Williams and 58-year-old David Williams, both of Marshall Avenue, have been charged with production of cannabis.
Melanie Williams also faces a count of possession of amphetamines, a class B drug.
Robert Williams, of Farmside Close in Bewsey, has been charged with production of cannabis, possession of amphetamines with intent to supply and possession of amphetamines.
The trio appeared before Warrington Magistrates Court on Thursday, July 2, in order to face these charges.
And all three defendants are now set to appear back before the same court in September.
