A LITTLE boy who needs to raise £500,000 for life-saving treatment in Singapore is continuing his fight.

Stanley Dalton, two, from Carlisle has been left battling T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia for the third time.

His parents, Georgia and Lee, were told in February he was in remission but by June Stanley has relapsed.

The brave tot was just 16 months old when he was first diagnosed in March 2019 and spent more than 217 nights in hospital over the next 11 months as he battled it twice.

Stanley underwent two bone marrow transplants in the space of a year and was given a trial drug.

In February, he was discharged from hospital when he entered remission.

The couple are now trying to raise £500,000 for pioneering treatment in Singapore after being told there was none available in the UK.

Stanley has been taken off his chemo medication recently but Georgia said he is going really well.

She explained: “He's good, he's really good. He's happy and well.

"All his counts have been great so he's not needed products and we're being admitted for harvesting of his T-cells and to get a few things in place for Singapore.

"He's going really well, the doctors are really pleased with him.

"He's not on chemo at the minute because he has to have a break so we were a bit worried but the medicine he has had seems to be keeping things at bay at the moment.

"So fingers crossed because he has been really well and good."
