Driver taken to hospital
A MAN was taken to hospital after a crash on Sunday.
A spokesman for Northumbria Police said officers received a report of a one-vehicle collision on Allen View, Catton, at around 5.50pm.
The North East Ambulance Service said two double-crewed ambulances attended the scene and the male driver was transported to Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, in Cramlington, as a precaution.
