A MAN has pleaded not guilty to theft from a Corbridge opticians.
Stephen Mcdonough, of Benwell Village Mews, Benwell, is accused of stealing five pairs of sunglasses to the value of £1,100 from Croft and Graves Optometrists.
The 37-year-old is alleged to have carried out the offence on September 4 last year.
The case was adjourned at North Tyneside Magistrates’ Court on Monday, June 29.
Mcdonough was granted unconditional bail until October 30, 2020, when he will appear before magistrates.
