A MAN has been remanded in custody after pleading not guilty to threatening to kill a woman.
Jonathan Dodds, of Buchanan Green, Gateshead, appeared at North Tyneside Magistrates' Court last Thursday and pleaded not guilty to four separate charges relating to incidents in Haltwhistle.
It is alleged Dodds (34) assaulted a woman in the town on two separate occasions in May and June this year, damaged a Samsung Galaxy mobile phone and made a threat to kill with the woman fearing the threat would be carried out.
He will reappear at North Tyneside Magistrates' Court on July 23.
