THE TOTAL number of positive cases of coronavirus in Northumberland increased by one on Thursday.
Public Health England confirmed 1,066 cases in the county, an increase from 1,065 on Wednesday.
In addition, data from NHS England showed that there were no new deaths from Covid-19 recorded at Northumbria Healthcare hospitals. The death toll at the trust's hospitals remains at 200.
Just two people have died after testing positive for the virus at the trust's hospitals in the last 14 days.
