HEXHAM MP Guy Opperman hopes to respond to constituents within 14 days of their initial enquiry.
The conservative MP said: "We are all working remotely under intense pressure and have set a hope to respond in 14 days.
"We are focusing on helping local businesses, employers, schools and other organisations dealing with Covid and potentially losing their lives, businesses or other very important personal issues.
"The response on the ten separate issues, raised in the last two weeks, was addressed in a 2,300 considered piece. We were waiting on many of the things people sought e.g. the Public Health England report and the equalities minister's statement. And we are required to wait until an emailer sends their address, as I can only act for constituents by the rules of parliament."
