A TYNEDALE based services group has added a new kitchen and bathroom design business to its portfolio.

Northumbrian Property Services Group, in Hexham, has funded the creation of a new showroom in Ponteland for Stonebridge Interiors, which provides some of the most exclusive kitchen and bathroom products. The showroom has recently reopened after shutting in March for lockdown.

The new business was funded by Northumbrian Property Services Group, which now employs a workforce of 40 across four separate businesses in the North-East.

Group managing director Simon Cross, who is based in Hexham, said the new venture complemented the group’s ambition to add only companies with a proven track record for quality to its portfolio.

The opening of the Stonebridge Interiors showroom marks the realisation of a grand ambition, on the part of designers Helen Stott and Stephen Standerwick, to open a world class kitchen and bathroom design business in the North-East.

It offers a full bespoke kitchen and bathroom design and installation service to customers across the North of England and Southern Scotland.

Bathroom designer Helen and kitchen designer Stephen, who both live close to Ponteland and have worked together on previous projects, were delighted to join forces to be the faces of this new venture.

Many of the leading brands stocked by the new business are exclusive to Stonebridge Interiors in this region.

The new showroom occupies the former HSBC bank building on Main Street, Ponteland, and features layouts from all the key brands.

In addition to Stonebridge Interiors, other companies in the Northumbrian Property Services portfolio include JP Westall, the Hexham-based heating and plumbing business, and commercial heating, ventilation and plumbing, R Arnott & Sons and RF Henderson.
