THERE has been a further increase in confirmed coronavirus cases in Northumberland.
The total number of lab-confirmed cases of Covid-19 across the county now stands at 1,062 - an increase of four since Friday.
Nationally, 173 people died after testing positive to the virus on Friday, bringing the total death toll to 42,461.
Meanwhile, there were 1,346 new cases confirmed yesterday, bringing the total number of lab-confirmed cases of coronavirus to 301,815.
The daily death toll for Northumberland has not been updated by NHS England since June 18.
