A SUSPECT has been identified in a police investigation into a car crash in Hexham.
Officers from Northumbria Police attended the scene of a one-vehicle crash on the junction between White Cross and the Corbridge Road in Hexham on Sunday, June 7.
However, the driver of the car had left the scene. Officers have conducted inquiries into the incident, and have now identified a suspect.
A spokesman for Northumbria Police said: "The driver will be dealt with for suspected motoring offences and inquiries are ongoing."
