POLICE are investigating a report of dangerous driving in a Tyne Valley village.
Officers were called to Haydon Bridge at shortly before 5.45pm on Sunday, after receiving a report of a motorist driving dangerously in the Greenwich Gardens area.
It is understood that the vehicle was seen in other parts of the village, and Northumbria Police said an investigation was ongoing.
A police spokesman said: "Shortly before 5.45pm on Sunday we received a report of a motorist driving dangerously in the Greenwich Gardens area of Haydon Bridge.
"Police attended the area and located a vehicle matching the description given by the caller. Enquiries are ongoing into the incident and police are due to interview the driver under caution."
The spokesman added that the motorist was tested for both alcohol and drugs, and that the test proved to be negative.
