A HALTWHISTLE-BASED building society will reopen next week with increased working hours.
The Cumberland, on the town’s Main Street, will now open for two days each week and will also open earlier.
The change will take effect on Monday, June 8.
The Cumberland is the UK’s 10th largest building society, serving 160,000 customers throughout Northumberland and Cumbria via its digital channels, local call centre and network of 34 branches.
The group announced at the beginning of the month that it would increase its branch opening times in 18 locations across the region as staffing availability continued to improve.
Branches will now open for two days each week and, in addition, will also now open earlier, at 9am instead of 10am.
The Cumberland’s full network of ATM’s remains available as normal.
