NEWLY updated advice from the World Health Organisation says face masks should be worn in public to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
The WHO has advised governments that face coverings should be worn in situations where social distancing is difficult, such as on public transport and shops.
It follows an announcement from the UK government on Thursday that face masks would become compulsory on public transport from Monday, June 15.
