Police responded to reports of a missing girl
POLICE were called after a seven-year-old girl went missing on Friday.
Fortunately, the girl was found soon after.
A spokesman for Northumbria Police said: "Shortly before 9pm on Friday (May 29) we received a report that a seven-year-old girl was missing from her home in Allendale.
"A search was subsequently carried out and the girl was located safe and well."
