NO new deaths from coronavirus were confirmed at Northumbria Healthcare trust hospitals yesterday.
The latest figures from NHS England showed the death toll at the trust's hospitals remained at 190, and has only risen by four since Monday.
Four new cases of the virus were confirmed in Northumberland yesterday according to Public Health England. The number of lab-confirmed cases in the county now stands at 938, up from 934 on Saturday.
Nationally, there are now 272,826 lab-confirmed cases in the UK, an increase of 2,445 on Saturday.
38,376 people have now died after having a positive test result confirmed by a Public Health or NHS laboratory, an increase of 215 on Saturday.
