NO new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Northumberland yesterday.
According to the latest data from Public Health England, the number of lab-confirmed cases in the county remains at 934, the first time in several weeks case numbers in the county have not increased.
However, two more people who had tested positive for the virus have died at Northumbria Healthcare hospitals.
The death toll at the trust's hospitals now stands at 190, up from 188 on Friday.
Nationally, there are now 271,222 lab-confirmed cases in the UK, an increase of 2,095 on Friday.
38,161 people have now died after having a positive test result confirmed by the NHS or Public Health, an increase of 324 people on Friday.
