AMBULANCE crews were called to an incident in Wylam yesterday.
Crews responded to reports of a patient injured at Hagg Bridge Bank in Wylam after falling from a height. A spokeswoman for the North East Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 2.53pm on May 28 to a patient injured at Hagg Bridge Bank in Wylam.
"We dispatched a double crewed ambulance and two of our hazardous area response teams. A male patient was transported to the RVI."
The male's condition is currently unknown.
