NO new deaths from coronavirus have been recorded at Northumbria Healthcare hospitals for the third day running.
The latest figures from NHS England showed that the death toll remains at 186, with no deaths at the trust's hospitals since Monday.
Statistics from Public Health England revealed that two new cases of the virus were confirmed in Northumberland on Wednesday. The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the county now stands at 932, a rate of 291 people per 100,000.
Nationally, there have now been 267,240 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the UK, a rise of 2,013 on Wednesday.
37,460 people have now died after contracting the disease, a rise of 412 on Wednesday.
