NO new deaths of patients who had contracted coronavirus have been recorded at Northumbria Healthcare hospitals for the second day in a row.
The death toll remains at 186, despite fears that a technical issue on Sunday could have skewed the figures.
One new lab-confirmed case of COVID-19 was recorded in Northumberland yesterday, bringing the total figure to 930.
Nationally, there have now been 265,227 lab-confirmed cases in the UK, an increase of 2,004 on the previous day.
37,048 people have now died after testing positive for the virus, an increase of 134 on Tuesday.
