WHILE GP surgeries in Northumberland will be closed this bank holiday Monday, the key message is that the NHS is still there for people.
The closures are in line with the advice from NHS England and NHS Improvement, but NHS Northumberland Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) wants to reassure the public that the NHS is still there for them and is reminding people to visit a pharmacist if they need health advice.
The following pharmacies in Hexham will be open as follows on bank holiday Monday:
Boots, Fore Street, 11am to 4pm;
Tesco, 9am to 6pm.
