THE increase in confirmed coronavirus cases in Northumberland slowed significantly this week.
On Friday, the total number of lab-confirmed cases of Covid-19 across the county stood at 920 - an increase of just three since Wednesday.
Nationally, there were 338 deaths from the virus in the past 24 hours, taking the UK total past 36,000.
There were 2,615 lab-confirmed cases across the UK yesterday, taking the overall total past 250,000.
