TYNEDALE is due to experience one of the hottest days of the year on Wednesday as temperatures rise across the UK.
Hexham residents can expect highs of 23 degrees celsius while temperatures in Prudhoe and Corbridge could reach 24 degrees.
The Met Office said it will be sunny and very warm inland, with temperatures set to soar in some parts, but cooler with low cloud around some coasts.
However, by Thursday temperatures are expected to drop and become unsettled with showers, thunderstorms and rain predicted.
