Police received a report of youths throwing stones at greenhouses.
Police are encouraging anyone with information relating to a disturbance at an allotment to contact them.
Northumbria Police received a report of a disturbance at Wylam Allotments just after 9pm on Saturday, where it is believed youths were throwing stones at greenhouses.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: "At 9.14pm on Saturday, we received a report of youths throwing stones at greenhouses at Wylam Allotments on Woodcroft Road, Wylam.
"Officers visited the allotments, but found no youths in the area."
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Police via its website's 'Report an Incident Section', quoting log 1079 160520.
