THE number of lab-confirmed cases of coronavirus in Northumberland has reached 905.
Five more cases of the virus were confirmed in the county yesterday, bringing the total from 900 to 905. It means the rate of the disease in Northumberland now stands at 282.6 cases per 100,000 residents.
No further deaths were confirmed at Northumbria Healthcare hospitals however, with the total staying at 173.
The national death toll now stands at 33,998.
