POLICE carried out a search by Hadrian’s Wall after concerns were raised for an individual on Monday.
A Northumbria Police spokesman said the force received a report at 11.30am on Monday where a backpack and clothes were found abandoned in a wooded area near Cawfield Quarry.
“A search of the area was carried out as a precaution and officers have now traced the owner of the belongings, who is safe and well,” the spokesman added.
