A WHEELBARROW full of famous celebrity’s faces running through Hexham’s streets isn’t a regular occurrence even in these unique times.
For Sarah Parker however, it was part of a 2.6 mile challenge that has seen her raise more than £600 for local charity Tynedale Hospice at Home.
The owner of the Secret Salon in Hexham, Sarah has become renowned for her collection of celebrity faces from the Royal family to England’s World Cup-winning cricket team.
“I have no idea why I chose the wheelbarrow, these things come to me in flashes of inspiration,” Sarah said. She was cheered along the route by her husband, children and neighbours with banners before crossing the finish line.
“I decided to raise money for the hospice because a lot of my customers have used the service and I have an idea of how important it is to people in Tynedale.
