A MAN was taken to hospital after falling from a roof.
The North East Ambulance Service was called to Allendale at 11.15am last Thursday to reports of an injured male.
A spokeswoman said: “We dispatched two double crewed ambulances and took a patient to the Royal Victoria Infirmary, in Newcastle.”
The Great North Air Ambulance landed in the village to assist the rescue operation, but the ambulance service said it was not needed.
