A MAN was taken to hospital after a fall in Allendale on Thursday.
The North East Ambulance service said it received a report of an injured male near the Forge, in Allendale at 11.15am.
A spokeswoman said: "We dispatched two double-crewed ambulances and took a patient to the Royal Victoria Infirmary, in Newcastle."
"The Great North Air Ambulance Service were in the area, but did not assist the North East Ambulance Service."
