Following an advert which appeared in this week’s Hexham Courant stating that the Down to Earth garden centre in Hexham was currently open, we would like to make clear that the business is closed to the public and complying fully with restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The garden centre, located at Tyne Mills trading estate, said it was following Government guidelines and only taking orders for delivery.
The store said it was unable to offer in-store collections in a bid to stop non-essential travel.
Orders can be placed over the phone between 9-11am Monday to Saturday at 01434 600920.
Customers are requested to not visit the premises, which is currently closed.
