A NORTHUMBERLAND-BASED business support programme has gone digital to continue to support businesses across the North-East in wake of Covid-19.

Business Northumberland has been delivering fully funded digital support across the county since 2019 through workshops, face to face meetings and various events.

In light of the current circumstances and restrictions in place following Covid-19, it has adapted and changed the way it delivers its support services.

Business Growth Advisers have been delivering one-to-one support to businesses via video conferencing and all workshops will now be delivered online, meaning that businesses are still able to receive support in real time as well as eliminating the issue of travelling across Northumberland to attend workshops and appointments.

Business Northumberland provides support to small and medium enterprises across the North-East which are looking to sustain and grow their business online.

The support programme is funded by the European Regional Development Fund and Advance Northumberland, so there is no cost to eligible businesses when accessing the support.

Businesses registered to the programme are able to access the courses completely free as well as have access to the online programmes and network of hundreds of businesses in the North-East.
