UNIVERSITY students have been asked fill in an online survey to find out about health and wellbeing issues during the Coronavirus outbreak.

It has been launched by the University of Cumbria Students' Union as it tries to find out about the student population in Carlisle and surrounding area during the pandemic.

Though the university is closed many students remain in halls and private accommodation.

The website states: "The survey will gather vital information on how many students still remain in student accommodation and privately let homes, as well as what welfare and support the university and union can provide at this time.

"The survey intends to understand the current circumstances that students are in, specifically those that are isolated and would prefer to be living at home."
