A WOMEN'S group is appealing for cloth and ribbon to make re-usable face masks for people worried about contracting Covid-19 during the pandemic.
The Polish Women's Group in Carlisle are making the masks in response to concerns about the Coronavirus.
Jarek Jakubiak, who helps coordinate the group, said: "We are doing this because of the crisis that is going on at the moment so we have tasked ourselves.
"It's a task we can do where we can forget about the situation and do something constructive - it is something we can do for everyone.
"At the moment we aren't allowed to do things like go outside or shopping so it is a way of helping the community."
If anyone would like to contribute contact Jarek on 0782 1519139 or email: jaroslav.jakubiak@vistula.org.uk
For anyone that would like a bespoke face mask, they cost £1 from the Polski Sklep Dino, in Tower Street in Carlisle.
