A STAFFORDSHIRE Bull terrier savagely attacked a pooch and its owner say police.
Officers are on the look-out for the black dog after the incident on Tynefield Drive fields, Penrith, which happened at about 5.45pm on Wednesday.
A Cumbria Constabulary spokesman said: "The black Staffordshire Bull Terrier attacked the victim’s dog and had to be pulled off the other dog.
"In doing so the owner has sustained a cut to the hand caused by the bull terrier."
