A FURTHER 24 cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Northumberland on Wednesday.
Public Health England said the total had increased from 76 to 92.
The Northumbria Healthcare Trust confirmed three more people have died, bringing the total number of deaths locally to 14.
It was announced that 563 people in the UK died from Covid-19 on Wednesday, meaning 1,162 people had died after testing positive to the virus in the last 48 hours - 40 per cent of the total amount of deaths so far.
