SIX more cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Northumberland on Monday, bringing the total number to 67.
The figure marked an increase of six from Monday, after the number of cases tripled over the weekend.
However, NHS England figures showed that none of the 180 deaths reported nationwide on Monday caused by the virus were in the county.
The death toll currently stands at 1,408 nationwide, while 135 patients have recovered from the disease. The latest figure included two people from Sunderland, who had been treated at Sunderland and South Tyneside NHS Foundation Trust hospitals.
