THREE fire crews from Tynedale were called to a flat fire on Thursday evening.
A spokesman for Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service said two fire appliances from Hexham and one from Prudhoe were called to a ground floor flat fire on St Wilfrid's Road, Hexham, at 6pm.
Moderate damage was caused to the flat but all occupants had managed to vacate the flat by the time the fire crews arrived, and no injuries were sustained.
