Hexham man dies after testing positive to coronavirus
A HEXHAM man has died after testing positive for coronavirus.
The 83-year-old died at the Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital in Cramlington on Wednesday. The Northumbria Healthcare Trust confirmed he had underlying health conditions.
On Wednesday night, Public Health England said there were 19 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Northumberland. NHS England said the total number of deaths in the UK is 465.
