Six further coronavirus cases confirmed in Northumberland
CONFIRMED cases of coronavirus in Northumberland increased to 19 on Wednesday night.
Public Health England confirmed a further six positive cases as the total increased from 13 to 19, while one person has died.
The exact locations within Northumberland have not been revealed, however the Sele Medical Practice in Hexham confirmed one patient is currently in hospital after testing positive to the virus.
A Ponteland GP has also confirmed she tested positive to coronavirus and is now recovering at home.
NHS England said a further 28 people have died from COVID-19 in England bringing the total number of deaths in the UK to 465.
