A MAN has appeared in court for assaulting a woman.
At South East Northumberland Magistrates’ Court last Thursday, Peter Robson (32), of Derwent Road, Hexham, pleaded guilty to a charge of assault by beating.
The court heard Robson beat the woman in Hexham on February 17.
The case was adjourned to Newcastle Magistrates’ Court until June 4.
