A RANGE of community groups from Prudhoe came together to provide important advice and information to residents last week.
A community advice day was hosted by Karbon Homes and Northumberland County Council at the Manors Care Home on Monday, March 9.
A range of services including Northumberland Domestic Abuse Services, Carers Northumberland, Prudhoe Town Council, Northumberland Action on Hearing Loss, Prudhoe and District Local History Society and the Miners Lamp Cafe and Community Hub all manned stalls and were on hand to chat to residents about various support networks and services available to them in the area.
The Manors Cafe was also open, providing free tasters and complimentary refreshments.
County councillor Gordon Stewart, who represents Prudhoe South was pleased that so many organisations turned out to the event.
Coun. Stewart said: βI was pleased to organise this event with our partners Karbon Homes.
βIt has helped residents to raise concerns with a range of organisations offering support & advice.β
