A PINT-SIZED farmer paid a visit to a local bookshop for a book signing – accompanied by Parsnip the lamb.
Sally Urwin, who farms at High House Farm in Matfen, has become a social media sensation under the name of Pint Sized Farmer.
This weekend saw the paperback launch of her book A Farmer’s Diary, under the slightly different title of The Diary of a Pint Sized Farmer.
Her book and social media tell an honest and funny story about the difficulty of making a farming living in the current climate.
She visited Forum Bookshop in Corbridge on Saturday along with with Parsnip, a five day old Beltex cross lamb – which wore a nappy for the occasion – for a book signing.
Sally said she felt the book was doing really well, adding that she was in the process of writing a second.
It is available at most bookshops as well as Amazon in hardback, paperback, audio and kindle format.
