The Northumberland County Show has released its eagerly-awaited schedule for 2020.

The programme outlines all competitive classes for each livestock section, plus competitive homecrafts, sticks, fur and leather, as well information on how to enter.

The Fergusons Transport alpaca section opened this week and has already sold out with a record number of applicants recorded.

The cattle section is expected to follow suit, in what is already being described as the largest gathering of Hereford cattle in the North.

Although many farmers have lambing ahead, the youngsRPS sheep section continues to receive enormous support with Zwartbles sheep in the spotlight this year.

The event on May 25 will also play host to the Northern branch show with a special class for its members.

YoungsRPS, a principal show partner, will throw its support behind the most prestigious competition of the day, the champion of champions.

Sage Wealth Management has lent its name to the equine section, which will boast both royal international and Olympia qualifiers.

Muckle LLP is set to support the members marquee and will welcome visitors with wildflower seed bombs, in keeping with this years wider theme of bees.
