MCDONALD'S has confirmed it has plans to open a restaurant at a new retail park in Tynedale.
The fast food chain said it was planning to open at the new retail development which is being built at Low Prudhoe, which is to be called Tyneview Retail Park.
Northumberland Estates is constructing the site on land south of Princess Way in Prudhoe.
On Tuesday, a McDonald's spokeswoman said: “We are pleased to confirm that we are working closely with the developer on this site and look forward to delivering the new restaurant as soon as possible.”
Aldi has already confirmed it will have a premises on the site.
Northumberland Estates has previously said the new outlets were expected to open towards the end of 2020.
