A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital after a crash on the A68 on Sunday.
Emergency services were called to the stretch of road near Whitelee Farm, Byrness, at 4.15pm after the motorbike collided with a barrier.
A spokeswoman for the North East Ambulance Service said two double-crewed ambulances were called to the scene.
The man was transported to the Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital in Cramlington.
