Northumberland is set for strong winds this weekend, with a yellow weather warning issued for the North-East.
Spells of strong wind are expected through Saturday evening and overnight into Sunday morning.
The Met Office warn some delays to road, rail, air and ferry are likely, with high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges probably affected.
Coastal routes and communities are also likely to be affected by spray or waves.
