NORTHUMBRIA Police are investigating two overnight burglaries in Prudhoe.
The thefts occurred on February 15 and February 25, with power tools and an electric scooter among the stolen items.
A spokesman for the police said: "Shortly before 3.30am on February 15, we received a report of a burglary at an address on Hillcrest, Prudhoe.
"It was reported that an offender had broken into a garden shed and stolen an electric scooter, before making off.
"Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting reference 170 of the 15/02/20.
“At 7.51am on Wednesday, we received a report of a theft from a motor vehicle overnight on Leaway, Prudhoe.
“It was reported that at some point overnight a number of power and hand tools had been stolen from a parked van.
“An investigation has been launched and anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting reference 126 of the 26/02/20.”
