Emergency services were called to the scene of a two vehicle crash on the A69
A SECTION of the A69 was closed on Wednesday night after a two-vehicle crash.
A spokeswoman for Northumbria Police said the incident took place on the A69 eastbound near to the Acomb junction at 6.30pm.
Officers and emergency services attended and found one of the cars had overturned and landed on its roof.
No one is believed to have sustained any serious injuries and one lane was closed while emergency services were in attendance.
