MORE snow and ice is on the way according to the Met Office, which has issued another yellow weather warning.
The weather warning is in place from 8pm tonght until 10am tomorrow and it anticipates wintry showers and icy stretches are likely to cause some travel disruption in the region.
The showers are predicted to fall as a mixture of rain, hail and snow, with the snow mostly over higher ground.
The Met Office said the weather could cause some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces. There is also likely to be some icy patches on untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths.
It is expected some roads and railways may also be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services.
